Faith-Based Nursing
The Starting Line Educational Endowment is committed to advancing the mission of Christian education by providing scholarships to nursing students who exemplify academic excellence and a heart for service. This endowment supports students enrolled in nursing programs at four distinguished faith-based universities: Ouachita Baptist University (Arkansas), Missouri Baptist University (Missouri), Oklahoma Baptist University (Oklahoma), and Baylor University (Texas). Through these scholarships, we aim to equip future nurses to serve with compassion, integrity, and a Christ-centered approach to healthcare.
Why Support Scholarships for Faith-Based Nursing?
The United States is projected to face a shortage of nearly 500,000 nurses by 2030, creating an urgent need for well-trained professionals. The Starting Line Educational Endowment was established to help meet this need by supporting Christian nursing students who require financial assistance to begin their educational journey. A contribution to this effort helps with books, food, housing, and tuition.
